Damian Robert Nesta Marley Breakspeare (born July 21, 1978 in Kingston, Jamaica), winner of three Grammy awards, artist of roots reggae and dancehall, is one of the younger sons of Bob Marley, and the only child between Bob and Cindy Breakspeare, Miss World 1976. His nickname is Junior Gong, derived from his father, Tuff Gong. Damian has been performing since the age of 13 in their first group left the school where I studied a BA. Share with most of the Marley family a long musical career. Unlike his brothers and sisters, his musical specialty is, however, raggamuffin, a mix of rap and reggae. Now part of the reggae and rock band, SuperHeavy with Mick Jagger.
Like his father before him and the rest of the Marley family, is a Rastafarian and his music reflects both his beliefs as a Rastafarian leaders principles of one love, one planet, and freedom for all. Although he spends most of the year traveling, resides in Kingston and Miami.
